• Step One: Tryouts

Joining the swim team begins with a tryout. This allows the coach to assess if the prospective swimmer is ready for the team and determine the appropriate starting level.

Tryout Details:

• Tryouts are conducted during a drop-in practice session.

• All interested swimmers must pass a tryout before registering with the team.

Important Notes:

• Not everyone who tries out will make the team. However, we have an open-door policy and encourage those not ready to take the necessary lessons and return for the next tryout.

• Athlete placement in a training group is based on age and ability, determined solely by the coaches.

• Bulldog Swimming is a competitive swim team, and regular practice and meet attendance is expected.

• Step Two: Registration

After passing the tryout and being placed into a training group, the next step is registration.

Registration Process:

1. Online Registration:

   • Register your swimmer online.

   • Read through the registration document carefully. If you have any questions, please contact us.

2. Contact Our Team Manager:

   • If you are transferring from another USA Swimming team, please complete the required transfer documentation via USA Swimming website 

Bulldog Account Setup:

• Once your payment is received and your registration is complete, you will receive a password for Team Unify.

• Use this password to complete your Team Unify account setup. This account will be essential for registering for swim meets, receiving information, and managing all things related to Bulldog Swimming.

Team Gear:

• Purchase all required Bulldog equipment online at our team store, which can be found on our website under the "TEAM GEAR" tab.

Practice Attendance:

• Attendance is not mandatory but highly encouraged!
